Terms of Service

By using CookShorts you agree to these terms. CookShorts generates short videos from text you provide using third-party AI and stock media services.

Your content

You own the scripts you write and the videos we deliver to you. You grant us a licence to process your inputs to produce your videos and to improve the service. You are responsible for what you publish and for complying with each platform's rules, including disclosure of AI-generated media where required.

Licences for media

Stock footage is licensed from Pexels and Pixabay under their respective licences and is delivered only as part of a narrated, captioned video. AI-generated images, clips, voices and music are produced under commercial licences from our providers. You may use delivered videos commercially on social platforms. You may not extract stock clips for standalone reuse.

Credits and billing

New accounts receive one free video credit. The Weekly plan is $10 per week for 7 video credits and the Creator plan is $25 per month for 30 video credits, each renewing at the end of its period. A credit is used only when a finished video passes our quality check and is delivered. Failed, timed-out or flagged generations do not use credits. Unused credits do not roll over. You can cancel anytime from the billing page; access continues to the end of the paid period.

Fair use

Scene re-rolls, voice re-records and re-renders are free within reasonable limits shown in the product. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, generate prohibited content, or attempt to circumvent limits.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous month.
